Who Knew... That the first week of school would go by so quickly? I didn't expect that to happen so soon, well I was wishing that it would end quickly the whole time. Anyway today is Saturday and so far I've been to Hawaii Kai, and to Costco and its not even 4:00.
Tonight is inventory night at Godiva. I never liked inventory but all staff must be present so I have to go. I ended up getting the Two Towers DVD yesterday. I had to make a WalMArt trip all by myself but it wasn't too bad. It was a nice quiet drive with me and the CDs. I think Krystal was too tired. She was so tired that she was like totally snoring. Oh crap I need to go to work. Finsh this one later....

Who knew that I would be blogging from my placement out here in the boonies of Kapolei. I guess you can't really call it a boonie, but its pretty far out. Very sneakily doing my blog while my students are getting their hawaiian lesson.
Anyway, I had to get up at about 6:00 a.m. Damn bus strikers are taking their time striking while they create all this extra traffic. All day on the news you here them apologizing to the public but I'm wondering how sincere they really are. Actually I really didn't feel the effects of the strike other than in a positive way. Well without buses all four lanes of a big street like Beretania was completely open. The drive was long only because of the distance. Also another good thing about this placement might be becasue of the Wendy's close by. Mmmmm... frosty...
Well I have a class of thrid graders. They are really good kids and I'm glad that I didn't get a big mess of students. I got some really good ones. Also my mentor teacher is pretty cool. He's a irst year Hawaii tacher but he's been teaching in Iowa. He's pretty crusie but the only thing I worry about is that, he's alittle too cruise and I might end up teaching more than I have too. Nah but thats a good thing, more experience....
No work today but got the take over meeting that might be pretty interesting to go to ince I haven't been to one in a long time. Damn kiwanians.... think that the can contrl us. Nobody's gonna hold me down, oh no, I've got to keep on movin'.
Well on that note I guess the bell is gonna ring soon. So see yeah after school. "When I wake up in the morning and the markets are open I don't think I'll ever make it on time, by the time I grab books and I give myself a look I'm on time just to see the bus fly by... It's alright 'cause I'm saved by the bell."

Who knew... that the summer would come to an end so soon? I haven't really blogged in a while because 1) my computer was in the computer shop for a good three weeks when I could have picked it up in 2 days. 2) that stupid virus was going around and my dad said I couldn't go on the internet. And 3) stupid blogger was down for a good week. Ok with that out of the way...
School started tody. It was ok but just like every other beginning of a semester the professor went over the syllabus and I felt that the round of syllabi were a litttle tougher than usual. I guess we feel that every smester is harder thna the one before but this time its not an exaggeration. I was looking at my schedule and found out that this semster might be the hardest one yet. It my last "real" semester since next semster will be student teaching. Hopefully this semester will not be spent on the computer 24/7. But it looks that way...
Well since the last time I blogged I was just talking about tennis. I think we're playing tennis alittle more often. I think that me and krystal are getting alittle better. Actually me and krystal played some tennis yesterday. When we played by oursleves it was alittle more hallenging and entertaining. Not that its not fun when everyone else is there. BUt I guess you can syat that we were more focused.
As far as work goes we hired three new people at Godiva. We had a new hire recently but she quit because she couldn't handle. Which made me very upset because I had to go into work three more times than I was scheduled. I thought I could maybe relax before school started but I guess not too relaxed.
The Lord of the Rings Two Towers comes out tomorrow... YES! I'm such a geek.....

Who knew... that the similarity bewteen the von Trapp family and the Skata family would have so many similarities? It was totally uncanny the parallels between the two families. ANyway my night was topped off with a nice finale, watching The Sound of Music with the Sakata family. I haven't seen that movie in like forever but its weird how you can kinda remember a song and then all of sudden be able to sing along as one of the von Trapp? Anyway a good ending for a pretty cool weekend day.
Anyway today is Sunday and I spent the whole day with Krystal. We haven't done one of those i a long time so it was good. Well we had a service project this morning but I decided to surprise Krystal and bring some McDonald's breakfast. I "Bond-esquely" tricked her to thinking that I would be groggy and sleepy but actually was on my way to McDonald's already. She was surprised to see a hash brown and sausage mcmuffin. Hee hee points for Chris!!
After breakfast, it was off to the Japanese Cultural Center. It was a community festival day, Tanabata I think. It was only Krystal, Daniel, and I that should up. I think Krystal was kinda upset because evryone kinda backed out on her. But its ok because the service was pretty cruise. There was a nice constant breeze and small children attempting to color a lanter for the festivities. It was really cute cause one of the boys totally went out of the lines and decided to make a garbage truck. The xeroxed print was of traditonally bamboo stalks with leaves and osme ornaments. But he decided tha a garbage truck was more interesting so we made his lantern with his drawing and coloring. If the leaders of tomorrow are gonna be like this boy then we as a society and all of humanity have nothign to worry about.
After the service project me and Krystal felt like we should treat ourselves to a movie matinee. We ended up seeing BAd Boys 2. Which was a pretty good action fluck, with its comedic gags and proper use of profanity. In my personally point of view I felt that no one wanted to see the movie. Whenever I suggetsed it before everyone kinda shrugged it off. But Krystal and I enjoyed it so thats all that matters. Oh and we also went to Dave and Busters. We played some horse racing and raced a few crusing USA games.
After that met up with Lisa and her work buddy. They wanted to go to Banana Republic to take advantage of one of those freinds and family discount days. I wasn't too thrilled because I never found somthign cool to wear from there. Ithink they are made made for haloe people so my proportions are not exaclty available. But while they were in there I went to Nike Town, Tiffany's, Chanel, and Gucci. I know I know, girly stores but I never been in one of the big ones in Waikiki so I went to see and it was big, clean, and expensive. Hopefulyl I don't have to go back in the store soon.
Well other than that it was nice day to be out with my other half. On that note... Yo de LAy Yo de Lay Yo de Lay ee hoo!

Who knew... that the drinks at Sansei's wouldn't be half off like the food? I was kinda pissed to find out the drinks were not half off. Almost like they kinda tricked us. Got us all excited about the food but no drink specials how do you like that. I guess the plus side was that we got to meet up with Jane and her potential beau Shiloh. HAHAHA it kinda sounds like a beagle or something, nah but he's cool. Good For JANE!!
After Sansei's we just came hom eand I had a whole day of work to look forward to. (sigh)
Work sucks, as usual, but todays wasn't so bad because I won the store contest today. Its called pass the buck, basically we have a money prize and whoever had the most number of sale items holds on to the moeny until someone beats the dollar amount. HAHAHA no one beat me. I am supreme!! I'm 2 for 2 in this game. Last time we played the first transaction amount I had was 90 dollars, again no one could beat it. Another good thing was that today I was covering for a coworker and he felt so grateful he gave me a 20 for my troubles I'm assuming. Twenty bonus?? Not too bad... I didn't accept it but he left it in an envelope on my apron when I got to work. Nice guy...i think he's gay... nah just joke....or am I??
Afterward I gave my psedo-sister-in-law a ride home because she works at the Subway in Kahala. Then I cruised at Krystal's house for a while. They had mini sandwiches and Goonies on the tube. What more could you ask for. Then I took a small detour and picked up another one of teh Sakata clan members and gave her a ride home. I got to try the new Pepsi Vanilla and a Payday. Pepsi Vanilla tastes a lot like Vanilla Coke. Except maybe a little sweeter. And who doesn;t enjoy a Payday.
On that note....flippa dippa keppa!!

Who knew...that I would copy Joel's idea about his randomness and call my version Interior Monolouge?

Who knew...that the third installment in the "Pie" series wouldn't have everyone's loveable and sensitive OZ?! I was disappointed when Oz didn't make it into the movie. I thought that he might do a cameo at the end but he never showed. Also some of the other main characters ofPie were no where to be seen. But overall it was a good movie. Kinda closes the triolgy but room for another sequal is possible.
Class today was pretty funny because we got make fun of our professor today. We had them take a really cultural bias test and put him under mildly retarted. HAHAHA the test was so bad that evryone was either mild or severly retarted. People were actually proud to be considered mildly retarded, it was a really funny scene to see "hahaha i'm only mildly retarded."
Anyway really debating whether or not I should go to class tomorrow. I know I should but its a Friday, and the weekend is only too close. Sansei's happy hour...
AHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHh, I want a beer...

Who knew...that the nights would be so long and the days so short? I feel like the summer days are going by so fast. LIke no time to cruise or party. Whenever I feel like its time to party the day is basically over. Where are the daqys going?
Tomorrow is my multicultural class' class acitivty. The basci concept of the whole thing is to give the class a test and have them score low enough to be considered retarded. Don't worry it ain't that bad. Well not that bad....
Krystal said we might see American Wedding tomorrow, kinda excited, haven't seena movie inlike forever (forever meaning at least a week) Then theres a heated debate whether or not we should tae advantage of Sansei's happy hour. Maybe.... Unitl tomorrow Peace.

Who knew...that lifting weights would hurt? Just wanted to let people know that my chest muscles are like sore...still. Maybe I should lift more often so they won't hurt as much. I fell like doing something active again. Like i wouldn't mind playing some more tennis. I guess I got hooked on it because of the virtual tennis at Fun Factory. But I had fun yesterday. Or maybe some swimming or something. Ah just a late nite enrty, call it a random act of talking to myself. Peace...

Who knew...that tennis would such a hard game to play? Lisa tried to teach me and Krystal some tennis and it was a lot harder than I thought. For some reason the tennis gamae turned into a home run derby because all of my balls were like flying everywhere and far. Krystal and I decided to blame our perfromance on the rackets.
Then I went to my friend Jacob's house to watch them lift weights. I didn't know they had this "ritual" for the whole summer. I like to go there and watch them and talk story but last night was alittle different. They called me out to bench some weigth and surpringly i did pretty well from what everyone said. But the thing is that my chest hurs now.... i can't even bruxh my teeth without whincing in pain.
Class today sucked. The whoel four weeks so far was without structure but today he drops the final paper on us and its all structured. Some amny things have to go into it I feel like writing, "this paper on mutliculturalism doesn;t fit the ideals of multiculturalism" Nah I guess its just one of those things where you have to suck it up and write that 10 page paper. (sigh)

Who knew...that using a check card would be the death of ME??!??! To the bastards that invented and come up with the satanic concept of check cards... FUCK YOU!! Sorry to those who enjoy th eusage of the cards this is not to offend you. Anyway well the story is, I had my paycheck today and wated to get soem cash when the teller lady tells me that even with my deposit that my balance is $28.00 negative. Don't worry the pay check wasn't that big anyway. Well what happened was that this past Monday or Sunday we wen tto WalMart to get a gift for jacob. Anyway what happened was I checked my balance there just to see howmuch I can purchase. The balance at that time told me I was at sixty dollars. From this knowledge I came to the conclusion that it might be ok to purchase Jacob's DVD and my account will be ok. So late rthat week on a Monday I bought flowers for Krystal that came out to about 10. Which by using my elementary math skills I see that I'm still 30 dollars ok. So for Jacob's actual party we decide to go to Pipelines. So I take out another 20. Still using that logic I'm assuming that I should have 10 dollars. But going to the bank today I realized that the bank system doens't work. So for the time being I think I'm gonna never use that damn check card again. So for the next few months all my money transaction will be ONLY cash. I will go on a check card boycott... Damn First Hawaiian Bank... theieves I tell you ThEIVES!!!
